A confession!
I am lazy and hate doing the odd jobs that seem to appear as if by magic around my house, I honestly don’t see why 2 years is a long time to wait to replace a bit of skirting, after all it’s hidden behind a chair so you can only see it from a couple of places in the room.
Nor do I have a problem with that bit of leaky guttering after all the constant drip, drip, drip can be quite soothing if you’re in the mood.
Sadly my wife Jacqui has other ideas on the dozen or so such tasks that I was always a bit to busy to deal with.
Believe it or not she occasionally raised the point with me that I should be tackling the minor tasks mentioned, expecting them to be completed within a set timescale!!
I did of course listen to these comments with great interest, before totally ignoring them, this tended to increase the volume of said comments, quite drastically on occasion.

Meeting Katten at the Curry Club and learning what his company does was like a dream come true, perhaps a slight exaggeration, hence it took me 3 months to sort out a date for one of his guys to come around and make my life easier.
For what I consider a very reasonable price I acquired the services of Dave for a whole day.
He arrived on time, 9am (I’m a bit of a stickler for time keeping), took the list, numbering a dozen jobs that Jacqui wanted sorted, and got to work!
No job to large or to small, bathroom ceiling painted, security lights put up, guttering repaired, skirting replaced, etc. Not all the jobs completed but I wasn’t expecting him to, the fact is he completed in a day what would have taken me 3 or 4 days (and had already taken up to 2 years).
He worked conscientiously all day (only a 20 minute lunch break, mine tended to start at 11 and go through to dinner!), completed all the jobs with minimal mess and didn’t complain once; Jacqui tells me that’s a nice change.
